  • When is The Stanley School open?

    We are open year-round, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    We observe the following holidays: New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents’ Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Break [Wednesday-Friday]; and Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day.

  • When can I enroll my child, and how will they advance?

    We accept applications for admission on a rolling basis.

    Children will advance to the most developmentally and age-appropriate classroom as they are ready. In infant rooms, children are moved based on age and developmental milestones, such as sitting, crawling, and walking.

  • What type of background checks do staff complete?

    All of our staff undergo fingerprinting, drug testing, and background checks through the FBI and child protective services.

  • WIll food be provided? Can I send food with my children?

    Yes—a prepared breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided as part of tuition. All meals have been planned and prepared by a trained culinary expert.

  • Are diapers, formulas, and other amenities provided?

    Parents are responsible for providing all personal items, including diapers, creams, pacifiers, bottles, jar food, formulas or milk for infants, crib sheets, blanket, a comfort item, and sunscreen and bug spray. All children must have a change of clothing, clearly marked with their name, to be left at school for emergencies.

  • Will my child take a nap every day?

    Yes, all age children will be offered rest time. Each class at The Stanley School will maintain a consistent routine and schedule. Infants will nap on an individualized schedule, and toddler and pre-K children will be offered at least 2 hours of rest time.

  • What indoor and outdoor play spaces are available?

    The Stanley School has a great indoor play space and outdoor playgrounds with secure, dedicated, age-appropriate spaces for children younger than 3 and children ages 3 to 5.

  • What will my child's day be like?

    Teachers maintain consistent routines for every class, and parents can access real-time updates through our BrightWheel app with updates about meals, snacks, and developmental milestones, as well as easy teacher communication and photos.
